Bikers Battling Cancer are having their 2nd Annual Rockin’ The Ridge Event on the Canada Day Long Weekend. The following is a letter describing why they put on this fundraiser and how it helps families in our area. ROCKIN’ THE RIDGE 2019

CANADA DAY LONG WEEKEND
Rockin’ The Ridge is a 3-day Motorcycle Rally filled with entertainment and excitement for everyone. You don’t have to own a bike or ride to enjoy all that Rockin’ The Ridge has to offer. This is a family friendly event for all.
The entire event is used to raise funds for our “Family for Families” program. This program helps families who are suffering the financial stress associated to cancer. There are many costs that are NOT covered by other agency’s or insurance and they add up quickly and can cause serious financial hardship for some families. We have already recognized several families in Sundridge and surrounding communities and it is our hope to assist them.
There are many ways you can help. Through sponsorship of the event, attending, promoting, or contributing to the “Family for Families” program. We hope that you will join us in the Battle against cancer and help the families it affects.
